So I'm back down to where I was a few weeks ago - so I figured I should weigh in here.

My exercising has been nothing the last few days. A one year old getting his molars means when I get home, I just have to relieve my hubby so he gets a break. And hubby had 2 nights this week that he was out, so it just didn't work how I would like.

Today I'm going to an ENT doc to hopefully get an answer about my severe congestion. I'm leaving work early for the appointment, and don't expect to be home at the regular time, so I'm trying to be hopeful about getting to work out, but it's not looking good. The little guy was up last night until 11 and back up at 5:30 - teething stinks!!! Where's my sweet 12 hour sleeper?!

The good news is that we don't have any plans this weekend, so I should be able to work in a couple of work outs and hopefully return to my schedule next week.

Ok, so it's not pretty, but I've been recording everything I've been eating...and I've been going over my RDI every day for over a week!!

I'm not sure how I got off track - it's probably been since the middle of June. I'm not going to think about it - I'm just going to move forward.

And who knew white pizza had so many stinkin' calories?! Now I know. And it wasn't even that great - I just finished it up because I felt bad not eating it. I need to get that mentality out of my head. That and finishing up after the baby. Just because he's eating goldfish, doesn't mean I always have to have them too.

So today I think I'm getting back into a mode of eating better. I really need to work on veggies with dinner. I always have the best intentions and then forget to make something - or I'm so ravenous I'm just ready to dig in!

I've really got to get myself back in check! Maybe journaling daily will help, instead of just when I weigh in.

I've been really lax in recording everything the last few weeks. I've been skipping on weekends, which is a bad idea! I'm so much more accountable when I enter everything. Like yesterday - we went and got ice cream at Bruster's. It was amazing. It was probably 500 calories or more. I wasn't going to record yesterday, but I did because I realized I will only have myself to blame when the number goes up on the scale!

So from now on, everything will get recorded - even on weekends, even if I have to guess about what I'm eating. This is particularly difficult when we go out to eat. But if I want to lose weight, this is part of what I need to do!

On the positive, we have lots of fresh fruit in the house - I'm loving blueberries with breakfast and peaches or strawberries with lunch. And I love giving them to WBC to try - he's such an awesome eater, I want him to like a variety of things. I cringe that my neice eats about 3 things - she is so picky and it makes it extremely difficult to eat out anywhere with her. I don't want WBC to be like that. So if that means spending more grocery money on different types of produce, so be it!
