Below is my weekly weight averages since I started IF. I use averages because any one day means nothing to me. It is the TREND that is important.

It is nothing short of miraculous.

My weight stalled for a few weeks, and I thought, “Oh, I need to look at my food (I eat whatever I feel like eating - and eat 1800-2300 calories in my window) or maybe I need to up my exercise (I do 10,000+ steps a day and some light yoga) but I have been too busy to do any of that. My husband is changing jobs, we are in the middle of selling one property and buying another. All life events that in the past would have translated into stress, too little time for self care and falling off the proverbial CI/CO wagon.

But I was not too busy to NOT eat for periods of time. I will NEVER be too busy to NOT eat for a specific period of time.

When I saw the weight 238. 4 on June 16th I recorded it in my weight journal because I was excited. I did not think it would stick around until I made adjustments to my food or exercise but it has!

This week I experienced the what we in the IF community call the “Whoosh.” You plateau for a while and then “Whoosh” off comes another few pounds.

Here is wishing you a week of filled with enjoyable food, reasonable and fun amounts of activity and a big “Whoosh” to celebrate!
