Scale is up. I guess I have to just get used to that for the next 5 months lol! I ate relatively healthy yesterday but I had Bertolli pasta w/red sauce and sausage for dinner w/ Salem so I think the salt in that probably is the cause of my gain. Other than that, I had milk, OJ, kashi, banana, apple, greek yogurt, and some Laughing Cow cheese. And I drank a 20 oz bottle of Cherry Coke. I've really tried to limit my caffeine intake but I had a paper due yesterday and I was so tired I had to have SOMETHING caffeinated to get going and I cannot stand diet drinks. I've had a massive aversion to coffee this whole pregnancy so that's out too. Hopefully today I can make up for that and the pasta and coke by eating better.

We found out one of our good friends never got their wedding invitation! So now I'm scrambling to get it out to them today. Nothing like getting your invitation two weeks before a wedding! Luckily they already know all about it and all the details. We are still waiting for about half the people to respond but we gave them until the 15th so they have a few more days before I start bugging out. :)

One of the very first friends I made here when I moved to Philly just found out her entire family is being transferred to Boston for work. I'm excited for her (HUGE promotion involved) but I'm going to miss her being around. It also got the bee in my bonnet about where do Salem and I REALLY want to be to raise our family. I used to think it was here, but all this cold weather and snow is getting on my last nerve. Salem lived in south Florida for awhile before transferring back up here. He said if he had met ME down there he would have never left. I know that no place is "perfect" but I kinda like the idea that our kids could go play on the beach pretty much every day after school. It's something to think about for the future. For now, we are trapped in our house thanks to the falling housing market (house is worth less than we owe on it at the moment). I'm sure we aren't the only ones in that predicament. In fact I think Dave Ramsey said pretty much 1/4 homeowners is dealing with that reality.

Well that's enough rambling for the day... time to do some work! Have a great day buddies.

Hi Chris! I'm afraid that you are right, you might gain some weight in the next months... LOL! But it's for a good reason! Moving out to a warmer country sounds like a great idea, I remember though loving to play in the snow when I was a kid. I still like it! Have a good day, I hope people won't make you wait to long regarding the wedding responses.

Horrible housing market. Love the idea of raising a family by the beach. Luckily decisons like that can wait until just the right time and besides ...there may be more than one bundle of joy to think about in your future : ).....I get ahead of myself. Lets have the wedding first :)

Yeah, being a homeowner is nice, but when the market goes down, its not so nice anymore! My development was built in 1960, and when originally sold, they cost 16K!!! Now they are going for just under 500K!! Just give it time, and the market will shoot back up. And if you do move somewhere warmer - take me with you!!!
