This week seems to have begun my plateau. I was as low as 265.4, but then it started going back up over the weekend (even those I was exercising an hour a day.) I didn't exercise yesterday and I've eaten more calories than I was. This is in an attempt to shock my metabolism into kicking back in. I'm going to try to go back to exercising today and see if I can start losing again.
I'm pretty depressed that I didn't lose, but I know it's only temporary. I hope.

I'm two and a half weeks into the diet and down 17.5 pound. I'm pretty pleased with that. I'm hoping that by my weigh in next Tuesday that I'm down the full twenty.
This was my first day without the Chiropractor since Tuesday. I'm feeling pretty good. The back is still a little sore in some spots, but nothing major. My most recent change is that I can feel my gait changing. I used to get made fun of because I "walked like a duck," but I can actually feel my feet and legs working differently. I can only attribute this to the Chiropractor. I do feel like I have more energy and I don't working out quite as much anymore. All in all, I can't complain.
I'm going to exercise Saturday for sure. Sunday is still up in the air, although I'm betting I end up doing it. Monday I go back to the Chiropractor, and Tuesday is weigh. Here's hoping!

Just a quick update...
I went the chiropractor yesterday. This was my first experience with one and I must say it was positive. He was very personable and spent lots of time with me. He took several x-rays and explained the reasons I was pain. He told me that his practice may or may not help me, but to give him two weeks to see if it worked. I went back again this morning for a quick adjustment and it seems to have helped. I'm still in some pain, but nothing near what is was over the weekend. My range of motion has improved as well. Perhaps it is working...

Well, it's been two weeks. I've watched what I've eaten, exercised almost everyday (excluding the last 3 due to back issues), and tried to keep a positive attitude. I'm down 15 pounds from where I started, which is pretty good. My new goal is to see the south side of 260. I know I can't do that in a week, but within two weeks I'd like to be there!

It's been a tough weekend.
I woke up on Saturday morning with lower back pain. I've had this problem before, but I didn't think it was going to be an issue. Usually it starts to hurt because I slept on it funny. I chocked it up that and went on with my day. By mid afternoon my back was spasming and I was down for the count. Yep. Pretty lame. This also meant that there was no way I was going to be able to exercise. I had planned Saturday as my day off anyways, but I was still unhappy about it. I took some left over muscle relaxers and pain killers on Saturday eveing and went to bed.
I woke up Sunday feeling marginally better. I immediately popped another round of medicine and went on with my day. I had a meeting at 1, which went fine, but I was a little sore afterwards. By the time I got home I could feel the start of more spasms. I relaxed for the rest of the day and felt somewhat better when I went to bed. Needless to say, no exercising again.
This morning I woke up in pain again. Not terrible, mind you, just a dull pain and stiffness in my lower back. I took some drugs with breakfast, which will hopefully mellow it out for the day. I have a long meeting tonight, though. Ugh. I also don't foresee any exercising today. I am going to attempt to walk down and get the mail though (a 10 minute walk from my office.)
If I'm not feeling better by tomorrow I might break down and go see a doctor. I absolutely abhor the medical field, so this should tell you something.
