Happy Saturday. I ate a steak before bed last night due to the strange wake/sleep times of my friends, and I'm pretty sure it's still in my stomach lol. Today I'm going to aim for about 70 carbs. Not as strict as the 50, and gives me enough wiggle room to have more fruits and veg. Of course, it means I have to run to Trader Joe's after my last violin lesson this morning. mmm beginner violins in the morning

actually down over a pound since yesterday, which means like 3 pounds this week alone. I am not going to record it since I feel like that will jinx me. I'm wondering if it's possibly water weight? It seems like a significant drop in the three days I've avoided most grains. Also keep in mind that 3 pounds on me can be very nearly the difference between clothing sizes- I am only 5'2" and not super heavy to start with. However, the scale does show a decrease in body fat since I've started tracking (26.1 t0 24.4) and an increase in muscle (34.3 to 35.1). So I guess that's good. I don't have much to lose so I don't want to lose it all in a couple weeks and then not know how to maintain it. Any thoughts?

Today may be my first day ever not eating any breads, or getting any carbs from bread products. Granted, beef jerky is not a wonderful choice, but I was looking to at least try to meet my calorie requirement while staying below 50 carbs for the day. Just for one day, to kick start my time eating Primal. I think I will aim for between 50-100 for the rest of the week so I can eat more fruits but still be in the weight loss range.
In the few days I've been reading Primal Blueprint, and following the suggestions, I've dropped back down and reached my lowest recorded weight on FS I think. So I've decided I will stick with it. I don't need grains. I'm probably allergic to wheat anyways.
I will not give up candy. I just won't eat it every day like before. Or in mass quantities like before :)
