It's been a Very busy last two days. Bought a 2ft deep, 8ft across pool at walmart friday afternoon. Saturday: One of my friends is going through a divorce, so she and another of her girlfriends came over last night for talking, grilled steak,a couple shots, some guitar hero, and man bashing in general. Worked off the amaretto sours I had last night swimming circles in the new pool this afternoon, and it turned out to be a great work out. ^.^ Jules decided riding on my back and stomach is a fun way to move around the pool, so I had 30lbs on top of me, and propelled us through the water with my arms in what I like to call alligator style. lol. Doing left overs for dinner tonight. We currently have Chicken breast and turkey burgers left over in the fridge, finished off the steak at lunch today. :)

So only 1/2 lb above my lowest weight. Can totally deal with that. Dropped 3lbs overnight in water weight. Woke up 3 times just for potty breaks. XD lol. Not nearly as sore today as I thought I would be. Just mild aches all over from Kickboxing.

So my experience at the Wellness center:

Got there, Jules immediately went to the childcare room and forgot i existed for the next hour an a half.

They discounted my day pass from 8 to 5 dollars. Which was nice of them. Then I had a talk with the desk/weight area staff about the gym, prices, new equipment, management, and my plan for future fitness. They would be more than happy to help me set up a strength training program using the weight machines. Also they're fixing to get 30,000 dollars worth of new epuipement, and the machines they currently have will all be re-covered. New Treadmills too. They'll soon be affiliated with the County hospital as well.

Got on the treadmill and did a mile in 16mins. Actually surprised myself and jogged after being away from it for so long. And I kinda tilt to the left side when jogging, but that's also the foot I've issues with. It wasn't completely happy about me jogging on it either and felt tight almost cramp like after I was done. Stretched it out and got on the bicycle peddly thing and did that for awhile, then the instructors for the kickboxing class came in, and I talked to them while they set up. One of the ladies I knew from my previous memberships there and she teaches one heck of a class. :)

Had an odd realization when everyone got there, I'm still one of the bigger girls there, but!! There were 2-3 others about my same size!! :D It was nice to kinda fit in with the others and not stick out as the biggest person in the room, big difference from 60lbs ago and my first month at the gym.

As for the class itself, I really enjoyed it, though I couldn't keep up with everyone since it was my first day back. Also think I needed to eat something more substantial before the class, and my new glasses with the mirrors weren't overly helpful either. lol. Got very hot, light headed, and a little dizzy the last 10 mins of class.

I was very happy with it all yesterday. Still just didn't feel like I belonged there though. I think it would help if I had more friends among the staff, and other members, but that would happen over time.

I'll probably try the other gym Tuesday, and make a choice between the two Wednesday.

Journalling very late today. Babysat my friend's little girl for several hours this morning, and we all had lunch together too. So my morning routine was a bit different than normal. Jules and Ella got along very well, and played so much that Jules passed out without argument at nap time. :3

Didn't log food today. Breakfast was my normal one, so I know I had about 300 cals then.

Snacks included a fiber bar, greek yogurt, blue berries, and 2 little reese nougat things.

For lunch we had homemade marinara (one of the best I've made yet!!), turkey meatballs with sara lee 45calorie bread crumbs and a good bit of garlic and Italian spices in them. And about 1/2 serving of penne.

And for dinner. Pork tenderloin stuffed with caramelized onions and roasted in the oven amid red potatoes, baby carrots, garlic, onion, and a little chicken broth. Also have some wheat rolls I picked up at the store earlier and I'll probably have 1/2 of one of those since they're fairly large.

Planning on kickboxing class tomorrow too!! Woot! Very excited and I know I'm going to have a very sore July 4th weekend after it. Very worth it though. Going to hit the gym early and walk on the treadmill before the class too. :)

Sooooo. I don't think I'm going to weighin for today. Want to give my body a day or two to drop some water weight. My Mom adds quite a bit of salt to anything she cooks, and I always retained a few lbs when I get home from her house. So lots of water today! Keep my sodium within bounds, and hope that the scale drops back down soon. Always shocking to see it jump up. lol. Going to spend today unpacking, and getting the weekend laundry done. It's amazing how much clothing a 2yr old can go through in four days. O.O lol. So glad I pack at least 2 outfits for each day we stay somewhere. Also will do a little outside time with Jules this afternoon, and maybe a grocery trip. Out of bananas, blueberries, strawberries....just fruit in general. :P And very low on yogurt.

Time for a cup of coffee and to get my meals planned for today. Hope everyone's Tuesday is Terrific!!
