Friday I went to Brigadoon which a local theatre company was doing that is usually an operetta company (mostly G&S). The orchestra and singing was fab but the stage was waaaay too small for the choreography. Lots of fun though.
Saturday was the San Jose Fantasy Faire and I went over and watched some storytelling and other acts and wandered the booth although I didn't buy anything. It was very colourful and fun. And I didn't get tempted by "fair food" although I had thought about getting a turkey leg.
Sunday I volunteered at the library much of the day. One of the other cataloguers and I went over to the Nepali restaurant nearby for lunch and I had paneer dosa. I suspect it has too many carbs but darn it it is good. (Fresh Indian cheese, chickpea flour, coconut chutney but probably about 1/4 cup of potato in with the cheese.)
I did weigh myself both Sat & Sun but never recorded it. I think it was 179.2 and 178.8 respectively. *sigh*

179.2 Guess that answers the rice question. I had better not hit 180 or I will be very cranky.

178.2 This morning but I was running out the door an didn't have time to journal. I had a nice low carb breakfast but I had an informational interview with a corporate business analyst for lunch and I just couldn't bring myself to be the weird food person, so I ate a California roll and beef teriyaki. I didn't eat extra rice but it was wildly more carbs than usual. Perfect Health Diet is cool with rice as a "safe starch", so we'll see how it goes.

Since I slept at a friend's house, no scale this morning.
I am confounded by the question of tamarind chutney. A tablespoon has from 2g to 8g of carbs according to various web sources for different brands. 15g an oz, says Harvard. There are no entries in FS and I have no idea what brand my Nepali restaurant uses (or if it is housemade). I don't really want to give up tamarindo but it does seem to have a lot of sugar. Bah.
I rewrote my FS bio as it had gotten long and confusing because of consisting of updates. It is still long but hopefully not as confusing.

Going up to work at the library for the next couple of days. I will eat pakoras and such from the Nepali restaurant next door. Chickpea flour is paleo and gluten-free... so we're looking moderate carb for a couple days I suspect.
