I have been struggling with my weight for the past 4.5 years. It was like someone suddenly turned on a fat switch in my body and no matter what plan I followed my weight kept ticking upward. Before this happened I was happily following a low carb lifestyle and enjoying good health and a stable weight. When getting back to strictly following Atkins didn't work I tried Fat Flush, Flat Belly, South Beach, low fat, and Weight Watchers. I experienced some success with WW and was able to get my weight down from a high of 192. I had been taking kelp to supplement my thyroid function but stopped taking it because my T4 went a bit high. After that WW stopped working too. I am SO tired of this being an issue that no doctor has been able to help me with, not even an endocrinologist. I have found a new doctor who has identified a number of issues. I am being treated and hopefully will be seeing light at the end of the dark, dark tunnel.
