HELP, please! After 6 weeks of eating well, I fell off the diet a few days ago, and am having trouble getting back on. I don't know what caused my weakness - perhaps stress, or as another member describes, Aunt Flow is on her way - but I have been eating way out of control (large quanities of popcorn, cookies, pizza, bagels, etc.). I feel stuffed, tired, and like I may have gained back everything I lost - (not likely, I know) - but I am terrified to get back on the scale - so I won't, not for a while anyway. Any advice for resuming after a major setback would be most appreciated!!! Thanks...

I went through that last month - d*mn aunt flow!!! I ate that way myself and felt so miserable the next day. Just tell yourself I am done, I am starting fresh tomorrow morning. I found that having grapes around helped me out - they're crispy, sweet, and they are something you can just pick at, which kinda took place of the crunchy things that I was pigging out on, plus the sugar kick that I was on. If it got too bad, I would force myself to exercise right then and there so I would quit thinking about all the junk food that I wanted. If I was at work, I just got up and walked around for a few minutes in the hall. Your chart is look great and I know you will get through this, you may even want to Detox for a day or two just to get your body back on track.

Mrs. H is right. Set back and take a look at things, you know how you are feeling right now, think of how great you felt when you were eating right...that is a great way to motivate yourself! Also remember that this diet is "forgiving". You just have to go back to Phase I and start over with it then jump back to where you are not. Don't worry too much about it, everyone slips up, Aunt Flow defiantly makes it hard for us, boy do I hate her! Anyways, don't worry, you will be back on track before you know it and you will be thankful! You can do this, I know it!

I would wait until your ready and then start fresh. Journal what your eating and weigh in when your ready. Usually the damage is a lot less than we think. It happens to most of us so forget it and regroup. I fell off after a few weeks and still can't get back on strictly. In the meantime, I do my own thing like maintaining small portions whenever possible. The weight loss is slow but you get results. Don't be afraid just face it head on and before you know it your will to lose will be back. Your're worth it!

i think everybody goes through this. just get back on it thats all you can do :) i went through a bad weekend when i first started the diet and i gained all my weight back plus about 3 more lbs. let me tell you i never did that again!! you can have a little snack every once in a while just try not to overdo it
