If you like bacon, you'll love this pizza that's also low carb.
Ingredientes
Instrucciones
- Preheat the oven to 400 °F (200 °C).
- Place seven slices of bacon on a cookie sheet so they are right next to each other. Weave the other seven slices into these, so you end up with a woven square of bacon. Bake this in the oven for 20 minutes.
- Remove the bacon from the cookie sheet and remove the excess fat with kitchen towel. Reduce oven temperature to 325 °F (160 °C).
- Spread a layer of tomato paste on the bacon, and add your toppings. Place topped pizza back in oven for 10-15 minutes.

Would be good but needs high fat cheese only!

Rating this a 1 for Atkins Induction Phase due to the tomato paste and a 1 overall due to the sodium count being out of this world high! Wow! Retain water much? lol. I am going to make this, though. I'll substitute the pork bacon with turkey bacon, sacrificing the fat and protein values to have less sodium, etc. I think I can thicken up some "no sugar added" pasta sauce with some Atkins zero carb baking mix, and substitute it for the tomato paste. Then I'll add 2 cheeses, onion powder, bell peppers and parmesan cheese. Should be fairly low carb :) .. Oh, and some turkey pepperoni slices!

Was really good, but actually tasted better without the tomato paste,it is too bland. And it was better with more toppings, onions and some chopped green peppers.

You guys are soooo creative with this stuff, sounds awesome! But I will be using the full-fat cheeses.

Sounds good but I would probably have the bacon and cheese eat up before the recipe came together!

this sounds really good, but, I agree with Chris here...I eat all the fat I want lol just no carbs!!! More fat usually equals less carbs!
