Belgian Waffles
A great substitute for waffles.
Ingredientes
Instrucciones
- Preheat waffle iron. If no waffle iron is available, recipe can also be used for fluffy pancakes, but that is not as much fun!
- Beat eggs with electric mixer on high for 1 minute to make them light and fluffy.
- Add all other ingredients (nutmeg is optional). Beat until smooth.
- Spray waffle maker with PAM or other cooking spray. Pour all batter, should fill bottom tray. Close and cook as usual for waffles.
- Top with Smart Spread or other butter substitute, a sprinkle of splenda, and/or some sugar free syrup.
- Serve with V8 for a complete and satisfying breakfast.

Too carby for induction and also a sweet. I would replace the ricotta with 4% at cottage cheese and leave out the nutmeg. BUT This is a great tasting breakfast treat on Sunday morning.

I love these! I have a griddle on my stove so I usually make pancakes out of this recipe. I use Smart Squeeze and Walden Farms zero calorie syrup or another SF syrup. They are wonderful for SB phase one!

OMG... this is very good and a great way to have pancakes or waffles. i enjoy the cinnamin taste..you must try !!!!:)

Okay so they are not going to replace Cracker Barrel pancakes, but my husband and I REALLY look forward to these leagal pancakes. I love them with butter and a little honey or SF jam

This hit the spot!! It was exactly what I have been looking for! I used a regular waffle iron, but I still couldn't get that crispiness...perhaps some of my measurements were off? But I will be doing these over and over again!!

i made this without baking powder as pancakes and with a few dark chocolate chips during phase 2 and i felt like i was eating european crepes!

SSoooo good! Thanks for sharing, I've been looking for something somewhat "bready & crunchy" I can sink my teeth into - or spread something on! Breakfast is my hardest time. I don't eat "hardy for breakfast" something sweet is more my stlye, so this is great! Loved the recipe ~ had to fight the kids off (I have 6, so there's no sharing "mom's food"!
