Diario de sarita-b, 21 jul. 09

Okay. My boyfriend and I never were able to come up with a joint goal for us to work to together. But we did each find individually significant goals. Only within the past week or so, and I have honestly been floundering a little bit and not wanting to record because of TOM (that only accounts for the past week and a half, although I feel like it starts before that with the craziness), but eh. Anyway on to better things. My boyfriend's goal is to lose 10 lb before the Tattoo convention here, so he can get more work done (on his chest) and be able to show it off and look good doing it. My goal will be losing 10 lb working toward a bellydance costume. I had my first performance this weekend and am really excited to continue performing, so working toward a costume I think will be good encouragement. Maybe a dumb idea but I think I'm going to print off costume pictures and post them around areas where I see often to be a reminder for what I'm working for. I am newly excited to tackle this challenge! In a way I haven't been for about 6 months.
If I find pics of the performance this weekend I will post them! I didn't have anyone take any so I will be relying on others' cameras.

hey thats great!! not dumb at all...a deadline or pic can help you get to goal... just don't stress so much on exact 10 pounds ... (all or fail), remember every pound puts you closer to goal!
