I have gained 6 pounds. I've been doing all the right things but as the instructor told me that when I'm bloated, working out-gaining muscle, and my period will make my weight fluctuate so not to worry about it. Which I'm not I will keep on working out and keep focused on losing weight. I'm going to act like that weight gain was nothing. The old me would get down in the dirt and get unmotivated. Not no more!!

You will lose that in no time, especially after TOM leaves.

You can do it! Your body might be hanging on to water. Why are you eating such low calorie intake?

Could be water retention, could be your colon is clogged up. Lots of reasons but if you are watching what you eat and working out which increases muscle then don't worry. Most important is how you feel overall and if you are seeing changes to your physique.

you know when you dont eat enough, it doesnt matter how much you workout or try to lose the weight, your body will hold on to whatever it can... so may upping your calorie intake by about 200 calories might do the trick. ive tried this several times and it has worked for me

The reason my calorie intake is low is because I'm taking in more protein and vegetables. I have to do this for the surgery and to get used to it for after the surgery. My dietitian told me not to count calories and to make sure my protein is between 60-75 grams a day and my carbs to be low. I have been doing really well but I just seem to have problems with being backed up sometimes. I believe this time around I caused it because I love cheese and I haven't had any in a long time so I decided and to some cheese sticks for a snack. Well, that didn't go well I like cheese too much and I ate too many in one day. I really believe that backed me up. So never going back to cheese again. I've gone a year without its not that hard. I just need to get back on track and I'll be back at what I was at the doctors last week. I'll be back at the gym today, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Yeah, I'm trying to get off the cheese (it's my drug of choice...LOL). Really! You might try some Psyllium Husks with the back up problem. Good luck!
