Today I went in for my consultation for the sleeve gastrectomy surgery. I met with the surgeon and my patient advocate. There was a lot of information given and I have to say it was a little overwhelming. I have to lose down to 309 lbs before the surgery that's 35 lbs to lose. I know I can do that and will!! I'm super motivated and excited to get this surgery.

You are forming great health habits that will make for excellent results after the surgery and for the rest of your life. Sorry it was so overwhelming. You will have a bit of time to clarify things as you lose that 35 lbs. Be sure to write down all your questions, so you can get them answered over the next few weeks.

Ohiogirl63, its very exciting and I got all my shopping done yesterday. Today I start on what they gave me from the binder. Can't wait until I do see the dietitian on April 4th. Thank you everyone else for the support. I can't wait until I can get back into shape I will not only be healthier but I will be more confident in myself.
