Feeling much better. Had a weight loss as expected even though the last three days I've been off Atkins as a bad flu bug is going around, at least three people in my building were hospitalized. So I'm eating normal foods a few more days until I feel totally back to normal so to speak, lots of orange juice. I probably drank more the past few days than I did in the past year and a half, but that is part of being on Atkins and why my cholesterol is so good now and why I can't go on WW or South Beach.

Yes - it was a stomach flu that hospitalized at least three female neighbors two of whom were elderly, I am finally over it but feel like I need to eat a regular diet for at least a few more days to get my electrolytes back in balance like lots of orange juice...

I had this at the beginning of last year and couldn't shake it for two weeks. I found if I ate meat or veggies that they would make it worse, so I too increased my carbs. I had stuff like oatmeal and low carb toast. Glad to hear that you are feeling better.
