Ugh. This year has been a nightmare, four+ deaths in the family have made for turbulent emotional eating. Not to mention the battle between Atkins and sugar for me has been a killer. Along the way I happened to notice the effect wheat has on me - nausea, joint pain, etc.. So I'm pretty much going gluten free, but Nestle Toll-House cookies do me in every time.
So I'm coming up for air from all that and here's my plan:
Two weeks - meat, beans, and veggies cleansing diet. Low carb, but not necessarily counting carbs. Next, add weekly: -Berries -Fruit -Dairy -Grains (no wheat!)
Keeping track of, but not being neurotic over, my net carbs/weight loss relation. I really want to lose. I used to want to be 145lbs, but now I'd be happy with 160lbs.
We'll see how that goes. May adjust accordingly.
