Well, just as I suspected, a little water retention this week. I was so much hoping to stay below 200 and continue the downward trend but looks like I will have to wait a few more days to get rid of the water weight.
I have a big week ahead of me with some very stressful meetings. I hope it doesn't adversely affect me in other ways. I wish my weekend would last longer but don't we all.
The weather here is still very cold. I didn't get to walk but it looks like there will be some warmer stuff coming again at the end of the week. I cannot wait until spring.
I got my big pot of curried vegetables made yesterday and it rocks. I even put some white beans in for protein. I think there is only about 150 calories in it for a large bowl. It is satisfying on so many levels~ tons of flavor, clean eating, lots of healthy anti-oxidants and good vitamins. It also made the house smell wonderful.
Then for supper, I made ricotta meat balls. My husband likes them made into a meatball hoagie sandwich. I ate mine with just a bit of spicy spaghetti sauce on it so I stayed true to my low carb quest.
As spring is starting to roll in, can you tell me what favorite menu items you are looking forward to? Or does your diet stay the same from season to season?

I feel like making a large pot of curried lentils or something similar today.
I love the way it makes the house smell and since we have reverted back to the cold arctic blast here in Iowa, I might as well eat healthy comfort food.
Last night for supper, I thought I would make cod. I had gotten it at the local grocery store but it was sadly very disappointing. Has anyone ever had the experience of having tough fish? Won't be buying that again soon.
Last evening, I got to sew for quite a long time, both on the machine and by hand. I've been working on an improv project and I have to say, it is coming along nicely. I am resisting the temptation to post it on Instagram. Lots of times I like to post as it unfolds but for now, I am keeping this one under wraps!

2 days post tooth pulling. So far, so good. I haven't weighed myself since I hit 199.5. I am afraid. Not because I have gone off my diet but because I don't want anything to spoil my wonderland.
I am fairly certain that by next week, I will have dropped a few more and there will be no chance of EVER seeing the scale go above 200 again.
We had a 60 degree day on Wednesday followed up by a major storm front with a ton of snow. It is scheduled to continue through tomorrow. Really, it isn't even funny. I was all ready for spring.
I spent a couple of hours in my sewing room last night while the wind was howling. I took a pain pill for my tooth and began creating. I think I might be more creative when I take a pain pill! lol. At least when I looked at my improve quilt this morning, I felt like for the most part, I liked it.
Trying to think of low carb ideas to cook for the weekend. I do have 2 avocadoes that I was thinking about slicing, wrapping them in bacon and then putting them in the oven . Has anyone ever tried that?

ONEDERLAND!!!!!!
In celebration, I am going to have a tooth pulled this morning. Really sort of an anti-climax here. Don't you think?

My body is going to drag out the last half pound to onederland just to make me suffer!
I thought for sure I'd be down 1-2# today for the simple fact I was sick with some GI thing yesterday. The budge will probably come tomorrow.
