This is my lowest weight I've been in three years. It brings back memories of my gallbladder surgery. If you've ever had a bad gallbladder, you know how painful it is and how little you eat before you get surgery. So for the days leading up to the surgery and after, I just didn't have much of an appetite. When I was checking out of the hospital, I couldn't get on the pants I'd come in wearing. I was on pain meds and not in my right mind. The edema was so bad I'd gained 14 lbs. My brain was so addled I made an appointment with my doctor and demanded we treat the edema because I would not stand for gaining 14 lbs after having starved for a couple of weeks. I think he thought I'd lost my mind. He did give me meds and the edema went away. I laugh now as to how indignant I was about the weight gain. Oh, man. What drugs will do to you!

I'm back home from visiting family in California. Lost 2 lbs with all the temptations! Only blew up the diet on New Year's Eve and that wouldn't have been bad if not for alcohol =) Happy New Year all! Time to get with the challenges!

The ol' plateau is back... Doing more exercise to knock it back. Next week I'll be traveling and I always lose weight while traveling :-)
