Down slightly after a couple weeks of feeling stuck at the same weight. I'm glad for the loss, but am not sure if it's real. Maybe I've just entered the phase where the rapid early weight loss is done and now it's slow going? I think I need to integrate some strength training into my exercise routine. Running and soccer are going well, but they can only do so much. Will have to figure out a doable strength-building workout that I can keep up with.

I've been away from Fatsecret for a week or so, which is usually a mistake. I was hanging tight at 155 (small ups and downs) for several days and then we went away for a couple days and I cheated/treated too much. Weight went up a pound or two, and I expected to have to post a gain today. But I was good with my food and exercise on Sunday and Monday, and now it's just about back to 155. So, even though it looks steady, it's actually a lot of back and forth since my last weigh in.
I'm back to being extra careful about food and exercise, hoping to see a drop this week.

I was doing well over the past few days, but strayed a bit from the plan yesterday. My husband had friends over to play poker and there were lots of junky snacks (cookies, chips, etc.) I'm usually pretty good about avoiding that stuff, but last night I did a bit of grazing, which is just a bad idea. It wasn't too excessive, but enough that I feel a bit yuck this morning and more hungry than I usually am. It's still weird to me that snacking on carbs makes me hungrier than not snacking at all. I understand it, but in the moment I conveniently forget. Duh.
Anyway, no change in the weight, which is good. I'm back on track again. My knee has been bothering me a little for the past couple of days, which is really not good. So, I'm going to play less soccer this weekend than I typically do. But I'll have to get to the gym and run on the eliptical or something instead.
Ug. Middle aged body.
