well, I've decided to start phase one over again because I've done so horribly with phase 2. I've not gained any weight, but I just want to punch through and go through the diet properly. Something the diet is teaching me is how to eat to live, not live to eat. I'm learning wonderful eating habits and the joys of fruits and vegetables.
I have to go grocery shopping tonight, so I'm going to stock up on extra fruits and vegetables again. Thankfully all the fun fruits and vegetables are showing up. I saw a bag of cherries the other day and some corn! Excellent stuff.
Thanks to everyone who's been supportive and encouraging. It's been awesome sharing the trials and tribulations of dieting with you all. Like I always say, you so totally ROCK!

I've stopped stressing out about the diet and started taking everything one meal at a time. This seems to work better for me and I'm staying mentally sound which is always a good thing.
Today, I'm wearing a skirt that I've not been able to wear comfortably since my son was born 3.5 years ago. Although I feel awful health-wise right now, I'm simply elated that my body is sculpting itself back to its former shape. Its very rewarding!
I hope alls well with you all today. Remember, life is good today!

I am going to have to start phase 2 all over again. I am actually considering starting at phase 1 again. I just keep snacking on things that I know I should not be eating. I really want to go through all the phases the right way, as its the best way to get the most results out of the diet and I want to prove to myself that I have the self-discipline to do this.
I've been working out consistently which is great for me, and I am seizing every moment I can to do something physical. I've stopped taking the elevator at work, I walk outside for 30 minutes when the weather permits and I try to alternate between weight training and cardio on a regular basis. I am starting a new workout regime today, so I hope over the next few weeks, I get better results from my diet.
I have a new target to hit. I am purchasing my new bathing suit today for a pool party I have to attend June 23rd. Even closer than June 23rd is my birthday on June 17th. I want to shed 5.5 lbs by my birthday or no later than pool party day.
I'm just pretty disgusted with myself right now, because I keep cheating. Its getting a little old. I know what I should be eating and I should just eat it. I mean really, its not that complicated.
*sigh* this is no way to start a gloomy Tuesday morning.

Well, I'm done with my morning run, 2.54 miles and 310 calories behind me so to speak. let's just pray that I don't cheat again today. I'm going to change my portions now. Basically eat more of the things I can eat and not limit myself to the portions described in the book. Seriously because now that I am up to about 60 - 90 minutes of exercise everyday, I am burning through my fuel. Need more fuel!
I cheated this morning and weighed myself (yes I know Gopackers!) and I'm down another pound which is cool! Viva la smashing!!!!
by the way, is anyone watching the show this season?
