The weight continues to bounce, but this time it is on the way down again. I am truly thankful that the general direction is toward my goal. Was on the bike this A.M. for 81 minutes and 21 miles. The legs are resisting wanting to go fast, and the average was about 15.6 MPH. Tomorrow is a day off from the cardio, and am playing golf with my regular 4-some. Really looking forward to the outing.
The Lord has blessed us with some absolutely beautiful weather after we had a week of highs from 100 - 102 with lows in the 80s. I hope everyone's electrical bill is lower than mine has been. We received the electric bill for this past month. It showed that our usage was 6% less than the same time period in 2023, but the bill was 32% HIGHER. The cost of producing electricity has certainly gone up in the past couple of years. UGH !! May have to come out of retirement and take up professional golf.

And, the weight goes back to where it was 2 days ago. Really odd, because the last 2 days meals have been relatively benign,...and the scales are correct. I am guessing most of us have odd weight swings, and am not really concerned about the weight. At least I broke the 200 mark for a day.
My wife and I are looking forward to the annual family reunion of her family on the 14th. It is always good to see her extended family, and most especially our oldest daughter & husband who live in Louisville. When we 1st got married as mere kids at 24, I came from a very small family. Basically, it was my mom & dad, 3 uncles, 3 aunts, and 4 cousins. The 1st time I went to Louisville with my "wife to be", it was to meet her family. That was a shocker. She comes from a very large family, and there must have been at least 40 new people & names to meet, learn, and remember. I'm still learning new names after all these years,..."Oh, she's my aunt's cousin & husband who live in Bovine TX that you've never met". It is one of those great weekends with a massive pot luck on the 14th. Control is always the key.
