I'm going to the library to check out "In Defense of Food" by Michael Pollan, for a new group I joined (thanks for the invite k8yk). I plan on doing a more intense workout tonight and walking 3 miles in the morning. I'm going to incorporate some 'South Beach' into my eating plans. The South Beach Diet phase 1 has always helped me lose weight, but I've never gotten past Phase 1 so I know this is not the strategy for me, but parts of it work...so I'll take the parts that work and make it part of my new lifestyle. Today will be a good day!

Day 3 Challenge update- 128+ ounces of water, by the end of the night I will have my 5 servings of fruit/veggies, I will do my workout before bed.

New challenge starts today. After a lot of running back and forth to the Social Security Building, I had to get something to eat. I got a sausage mcmuffin, because I was being cheap and just needed to satisfy my hunger so I wouldn't over eat when I got home a few hours later. So on day 1 I broke a mini challenge of no fast food. I'm not taking it hard though, because there was nothing else around so it was McDonalds or starve...I chose McDonalds.
Starting today I will actually measure my portions instead of guessing. When you are really hungry 1 cup can easily look like 1/2 cup.
