I am getting despondent, nothing seems to be working anymore and I really need to get rid of this 10 pounds or so - very frustrating and depressing

Well yesterday turned from being a
good
day to one of being over my RDA by 34% - I just had to have that slice of toast that I had been craving for days. Between the toast and the peanuts I bust it BUT my intake was still less than calories burned so all is not lost.
I am going to make up for that today by having some lovely light Progresso soup for supper and hopefully end up eating less that RDA(yeah I know it is hot but I feel as though I have eaten if I eat hot food even on a hot day). Woohoo, hubby comes home from his business trip around midnight tonight - I still have so much to do before he comes home, hope I keep up the energy level and accomplish a lot of what I wanted to do while he was away. OK back to work, hope that I can resist temptation when I am not alone anymore

I am loving using FS instead of WW online - NOTHING is
free
on FS so now maybe I will finally start actually losing some weight when I am being really good sticking to the diet :) I am also spreading the load a bit instead of eating everything at night, I always knew that 4 small meals are better than 1 big one but I always 'hoarded' my points. Now I am also seeing the benefit in that I am eating more of a balance between proteins and carbs - previously I was mostly eating fruit and veggies but found that they are actually loaded with fat and carbs - who would have thought???

Today is going to be a good day - I have decided on that!
Last night I thought that I had blown it, I made bread and oatmeal cookies (in spite of it being 90+ degrees!). A treat for my husband who is coming back from a business trip. Of course I had to have a cookie or two but when I put everything in my journal, I came in well under RDA - now I am more determined than ever to keep making each day a
good
day. This morning I forced myself to get up and go for a bike ride - I always feel better afterwards, it is the before that is the tough part !
Yesterday I kept wondering who on earth was roasting chicken in the middle of such a hot day - I kept smelling roast chicken and dressing and it smelled SO good. Only much later in the day did I realize that it was actually the wholewheat bread that was busy rising ha ha
Hope that you all are having a really good day and have the inspiration and courage to keep with the weight battle !
