Wow! this week has gone by fast, I met my goal for week 1. I didn't lose weight though But I did gain new friends at the pool and here. I gained the movitation to continue "the plan" and not focus only on the numbers!
3/22 40 min water walking, 20 min water aerobics

Yipeee! Finally got "unstuck", down one more. I wish the loss would speed up a little but I need to be happy with little successes--so today I will be! And tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day---all are going to be successes, each and every one! Boy, I love Spring Time. :)

Did my pool work out again yesterday. My 74 yr old Dad went with me, he is doing Atkins as well. We spent 1 hour water walking, the water bike, swam a couple of laps (sure seemed easier 20-30 yrs ago) and some water aerobic exercises. Tried to maintain constant motion for 1 hour. Whew, we were both tired, but it felt good!

Went to the city's pool last night. For 1 hour I either water walked or did some water aerobics, mostly the cross country ski-ing motions. I tried water aerobics about 5 years ago for the arthritis, it helped then. Oh my! I sure can tell it has been 5 years! My arthritic knees and hips are whining this morning, LOL oh well, I keep telling myself its good for me..........
