My body is so sore! All I did yesterday was go walking during my daughter's softball practice, so I am assuming it is from the raking of leaves the day before.

I am committing right now to doing my Pilates dvd, so hold me accountable K? I know you will Cobra mama. :)

I think I will make shrimp cocktail and salads tonight for dinner. My daughter will be gone tonight for dinner so I always try to make a meal she doesn't like on Wednesday nights. So shrimp would be perfect. I got so burnt out on salads in the beginning, that I can't even tell you the last time I have had one. But, I am wanting one now, so I think I will plan to have that tonight as well. I am not a big salad eater, but sometimes I really crave one. Not often, but every once in a while.

Yesterday was a very productive day. I took the kids outside around 2:30 and didn't come in until almost 6 o'clock! I raked leaves for a long time, cleaned and vacuumed out my car, cleaned up the back deck, and several other outside projects. By the time we came in, cooked dinner, fed everyone, cleaned the kitchen, got the kids to bed, I was EXHAUSTED! So, I didn't exercise, but my body is sore from all the raking, so I am counting that as my exercise for yesterday. My daughter has softball practice tonight, so I am going to walk the track while she practices. The high today is 81. But by the weekend it is going to be back down to the 50s and raining. So I am going to take advantage of the pretty weather today and tomorrow and do my exercise outside, b/c with all the rain, I will be inside the rest of the week.

2 lbs down for the week. I was down 3 but the pizza encounter sabatoged that. I am happy with 2 and pushing for 3 this week. The weather is GORGEOUS and makes me have so much more energy. I LOVE SPRING!! Aside from the pollen.

We spent the whole weekend at the ball field. It was great. Now I am all sunburned. Or should I say wind burned. I know better, but was not prepared. I always protect the kids though, so that's good.

Dancing with the Stars starts tonight. My daughter and I love watching it together. Yay!

Update: I changed my profile pic back to me. I keep putting my kids on there, but I am on this site for ME! That picture is when I reached my first goal on FS. I got under 180. And now, over a year later, I am teetering around the same weight. I was so excited to post that picture b/c I had reached my first goal, and now I have to get excited again and anticipate reaching my next goal of 160. A year later and no progress. I should have been at my goal weight a long time ago. I am ready to get there and maintain, I am so tired of losing, and gaining. The vicious cycle has to end!

Well, the time change has arrived. Man, it just seems way too early to be up on a Sunday. We had a long exhausting day yesterday. Left the house at 8am to go to a ball tournament. Cobra: hubby cooked one tator, but still lost their first 2 games which eliminated them early. So we rushed back to Dalton, took my daughter to softball practice. She had a great time. They were trying her out on the pitcher's mound, and she did really great. Until she got line drived right in the tummy. Poor little thing. She is barely 6 years old, so not so great on the reflexes. She cried for just a minute and said "ok, mama, I am ready to go back out there!" I was so proud. I hope she will be a pitcher. I pitched my whole life. And in fast-pitch. That is a great position. I will be happy with whatever she does though. It is so much fun to watch. Today we will go to church, then rush home, fix a sandwich, and go back to the ball field for another tournament. Hopefully we won't get sent home quite so early today.

The weather was GORGEOUS!! We even all got a little sun-burn on our faces. So today we will most certainly remember the sunscreen. I wish I had a tan so I could wear shorts. But these white legs are just not ready to see daylight quite yet.

DHeimer: confession time. I did not hold true to our commitment. We ordered pizza last night. And wings! I know, I know! So bad!! Today I will work it off! I am so mad about that. I did so well all day long, while out and about, when it is usually the hardest to stay on track. And then when we got home, where we had healthy choices, I caved. Bad, bad, bad!

Weigh-in tomorrow morning. We will see! As of Friday, I was down 3 lbs. But today the pizza added a pound back. Probably just a lot of sodium. So hopefully it will go away tomorrow.

I did what I said yesterday, and focused on my abs. I did 100 crunches and other tummy exercises. I really need to do that daily. there is no reason I can't during the day. I spend 75% of my day in the floor with my son anyway.

We found out that Grandma's released date got postponed and it is now March 26 rather than this Friday. Which is good for us. Now we have a couple more weeks to get everything sorted out.

The forecast for this weekend keeps getting better and better. Now it is saying Sunny with a high of 75!! Yay!! I cannot wait to get my flower beds back in action! I also have a ton of the kids summer clothes from last year that I need to put on eBay. So that is on the itinerary for next week.

I have also committed to going on a women's retreat with my mother-in-law. I am perplexed as to why i did that. We get along fine, we just aren't super close. We can chit chat and make small talk, and are fine when the kids are with me, but we have never really spent a long amount of time together alone. And I have been in their family for almost 10 years. I guess I thought maybe it would be a good opportunity to build more of a relationship with her outside of my kids. I don't know. My husband even commented on how I keep doing things that are WAY out of my comfort zone. ?????

Update: I was really wanting pizza, so badly, so I took a lite English muffin, split it in half, spread some tomato sauce on it, a few turkey pepperoni and mushroom with 2% italian cheese blend. baked in the oven at 425 until golden brown. YUMMY! Cured my craving. Only 290 calories for both halves and very little fat. My mom used to make these for us as kids. My kids love them too. They just think I am making them special mini-pizzas, they don't realize how much better it is for them.
