Day 12: Ok, last Friday I ate way too many carbs because I did not plan for Meatless Fridays. The extra carbs I ate were all veggies but it was still to many. Today I have a plan. I put 1 tea of peanut butter on my MIM. Lunch will be BIG salad with Tuna & cheese. Snack cheese sticks. Dinner 2 Boca Burgers 1 NC per burger. I feel good today & am excited for mondays weight & measure in.

Week 2 Day 3: I'm wiped out! I have no energy & just want to lay around & sleep. I got up @ 6:30 am & worked until noon came home ate & layed down & have been sleeping on & off up til now. I've been really sleeping much better than I normally do. So I was surprized to be so tired. Well I need to get myself together as I have a busy week & week end ahead.
Food & moving was good yesterday. My attitude is staying positive. Change is never easy so I just need to rest when I need to & get done what needs done. I think thats called life! LOL

Week 2 day 2: Yesterday was something of an enigma. I ate all the right things but my quotas were WAY off. I ate too much fat again, calories & carb’s too high & protein too low. I really planned my eating for yesterday. I’m not feeling more energy & I’m stopped up!
I’m going rogue this week! I’m going to eat eggs, meat & fish, veggies & salad with olive oil & vinegar only. I’ll watch my salt intake, drink my water & take a walk everyday.
This sounds like a plan to me. It also sounds like Atkins on steroids.
Any advice or comments?

Day 7: Weigh in was not what I wanted. I have a 2 lbs loss from the start. I really wanted to see 8 lbs like some of the other posters BUT I'll take the 2lbs with joy as it was a LOSS! the BIG surprise was when I measured myself. 1.25" off bust, 2" off waist & 2.75" off hips. That's 6 inches; pretty impressive, I think.
Some things I've learned on Week 1:
1) BUDDIES are worth their weight in GOLD. Don't lose to much guys I need you! LOL
2) I like HOT food better. That could be a contributing factor to my small weight loss. I need to eat more salads & less cooked foods.
3) I need to move more. I will take more breaks from my desk & walk around the pond or out to the pool. With technology there is NO reason I have to be glued to my desk.
4)This is a process & to make it work I have to pay attention & follow the rules. I can see that it works by looking @ this board & the progress folks are making 1 pound @ a time!

Day 6:Ever get the blues? Well I sure did yesterday. Not sure why. Everything went fine. No food or move problems. Life is just as hectic as it always is. No health or hormone problems. I can not really put a label on it.
So I want to say its just life (like Frank) thats what all the people say. (Only you 50+ er's will get that reference LOL)
Today is a new day full of possiblities & promise.
