Yippee! Under 180 for the first time since July '06! I went back on Phase I Tuesday, after not having lost any pounds last week. It worked! Thank you to those of you that have suggested, and shared your successes, with resuming Phase I. I may stay on Phase I for a while longer.
I'm so glad this diet works! It is forgiving, and has been surprisingly easy to stay on, especially with the support of everyone on this website.
It has been more than 5 years since I was below 165. According to the book, for someone my height (5'2") 164+ is considered obese. I am starting to believe that I really can do this, and get to a healthy weight (under 136). Let's all get (and be) healthy together!

I'm disappointed not to have lost any weight this week, but at least I didn't gain. I did exercise less, and "treated" myself to popcorn at the movies on Sat., so that may be why I didn't lose.
I was hoping to get below 180. I am almost there. Hopefully this week. Maybe I'll try Phase I for at least a day or two, and to be more diligent about exercise again!
I must say that I am finding this diet to be fairly easy to stay on. And, it definetly helps a lot to have the support from all of you on this website. It's comforting to know I'm not in this alone, and together, we can smash those bad habits, and replace them with healthy ones - even when the rewards are slow to see.

Does anyone know how to change their goal weight on this site? Lately, I've been thinking that instead of looking at my goal as having 65+ pounds to lose, I would prefer to view my goal as only having to lose 13 pounds...5 times. I have almost lost 13 pounds, which means once I get there, I will only have to repeat what I have already done 4 more times. I know it's a mind game, in that 13 x 5 is the same as 65, but by having smaller goals, it may not seem like such a huge undertaking, and the slope on my graph should be steeper, which may be more motivating for me to look at...Your comments are always appreciated, so thanks in advance for sharing any thoughts you may have!
