I have struggled with my weight, at least in my head, since I was a child. I had an inaccurate self-image and thought I was overweight when I wasn't. Then I became overweight when my thyroid quit during my first pregnancy. I became a registered dietitian to try and understand how to cope. I am now pursuing a Master's in Counseling to continue to try and understand. I had a gall bladder attack late 2010, no medical insurance, so I drastically changed how I ate and lost about 45 pounds. Had my gall bladder out two months ago and now those pounds are trying to come back. I am scared. I am really tired of thinking about food all the time. I'd like to be normal, whatever that is.
