I'm having a lousy day... One of my dearest friends is struggling with cervical cancer and I am having to be the go between her and our entire faculty. I am reliving her struggle by having to tell everyone her story. The reason this is diet relevant is that she just lost 30 lbs. using diet pills.... She was little to start with now she is a size 0 and has to face chemo and radiation for 6 weeks. I fear for her in that she has nothing to fall back on should she be too ill to eat.

Stay strong. I too have friends who are anorexic and I wish I could help them but I can't if they don't want to help themselves. That is what can happen if someone falls ill after losing more weight than is healthy. You are a great friend to relieve her burden as you can.

Dealing with a life threatening illness is never easy. I wish you the strength to continue to be there for your friend.

I am very sorry to hear of your friends illness - and agree on your sentiment regarding her size in the face of battling a serious illness. I also noticed that your chart is moving downward and didn't want to pass up commenting on it - you are doing great in the relatively short time you have been here - keep it up!
