I hate to confess: yesterday I got sick to my stomach and left work just before noon. Then... the disaster started... my bf had an appointment and we went to McDonald's for lunch... I had Chicken Nuggets, not so bad I would say... and medium fries... (to be honest I didn't eat fast food for 3-4 months)...

Later on... the day was amazing so instead of going home I wanted to be outside and have a walk to get better... so we bought those ice cream sandwiches... and they are mini but I had a few... a total of 360 calories...

Then we got back home... and I went to sleep because I was sick... my bf was cooking dinner... when the dinner was ready I got up.. eat... and I was so tired and exhausted I couldn's sit for 5 minutes or more.. to let the food settle down... I had to lay down and fell asleep... 2 hours later... the amazing coffee smell woke me up...

So we spent the few next hours together watching TV. And around 10-11pm we got hungry so he brought some carrots with Hummus... and that was our snack....

and ALL that was a result of 2 lbs up on the scale this morning!

Geez... I hate it! Can't I indulge for 1 single day without such consequences?! Arggh!!

And.. on top of that... I didn't go to gym for 3 days now... so tonight, back to the gym!

Probably water retention from all the sodium and caffeine from the coffee. Hey, give yourself a break though, you were feeling sick. Hope you feel better today!

It's the same with me mirej, I *pay* dearly for whatever I eat. But, over time, it all balances out so I'm learning to be comfortable with it. This is why I am now in the process of resetting my goal so that I will have a 5 pound cushion (by setting my goal to 155 rather than 160 where is where I should be). I can tell you right now that it's mostly the chicken and the french fries (water retention). You should be back to around 133 by tomorrow. Have a great day!

Ohh stop that Mirej!!:-) Starladesiree is right you were sick, so you're excused. You said it yourself that you did not eat fast food in over 3 months and you know better that this is not your normal eating routine/habit. You've done such an amazing job on your weight loss and you went through such a transformation that you should not be beating yourself up over 1 day of indulgence (which wasn't even that bad) It happens to everyone. Head up! Those extra pounds are going to be gone in no time.

I completely understand where you're coming from ... but you're one day of indulgence is way better than mine! Hahah ... when I go outside of my calories ... I GO OUT and gain like 5 pounds in 2 days! But what's important is that you get back on track today and it will be gone soon!

Wow.. I must admit, this was the best confession ever! So many positive replies! :))) I am glad I wrote it down, to be honest I was debating with myself... ********Info... I get it.. so I should put my goal as 125 lbs... lol and then when I reach 130 lbs that would be perfect, but I would be bothered by the 5 lbs to go... lol it would drive me nuts... I'm like that. Will see... *********XGeminiX Thanks for accepting my excuse lol :) Also thank you for a positive feedback, I am always hard on myself, that is why I achieved my goal... and finally lost weight! **********mms0823 I gained 2 lbs in one day... that would be equal to 4 lbs in 2 days lol... :) thanks for encouraging me! It feels good to know that we all do this from time to time! Thank you all again! Your comments are Much appreciated! Have a good day!
