I realize you posted this a while back but, I just came across your journal.
The first time I did Atkins, I had peanut butter. It didn't have any negative effect. I haven't done that this time though. I'm assuming, I haven't gotten that far into the book again yet, but that it's
'acceptable' when you start adding back nuts. The first time I did Atkins, I just made sure my carbs were 20 or under no matter what I ate so, I didn't follow the "rules" correctly. I'm trying to this time but... I have pistachios every day! lol

lol thats good to hear. i did see on the website the other day someone had said that after a few weeks of being on the diet that it was ok to add some nuts into your diet, but ive been to scared to try :)
