Hi Angie. I have been through this before and learned a lot from some very wise peeps. Essentially when you are training and have increased your exercise, your body actually requires you to ramp up your calories so that your muscles can properly repair and recover. You also need the calories so your body can have energy readily available when you increase your heart rate during activities. If you are following the HCG protocol, this is why they advise you to avoid high intensity exercise - due to the low amount of calories your are consuming, doing so will put your body into starvation mode and therefore weight loss will actually stall. If you are not following the HCG protocol, then trying increasing good proteins and fats to fuel your body and help with the aftermath that goes on post work out. You should then start to see that you will lose the excess you have been wanting to lose.
