40 days to better living, day 9, stress: Faith Life: Take 5 min. to sit and quiet my inner voice and just listen. Medical: Tell fam or friend about my meds Movement: When I feel stressed go for a walk or something active to get relief from stress. Work: When I get stressed while working I want to remember to do some stretching for relief. Emotional: The way I dealt with a recent stressful situation was not good. I hardly did anthing healthy or helpful. I ate too much, sat around, and I even drank. And i felt horrible. I only went for a walk the one day and that was it. Family and friends: I need to make sure that i take time away from family and have some time alone. I did do a lot of that. Its easier to sort things out when I have time to myself. Nutrition: Meal planning and prep work helps take some stress out of meal time.
