Diario de Herbie, 01 nov. 07

Hope that everyone had a happy halloween! It was craziness in my town--the neighborhood I live in is *the* place to be for trick or treating so we had over 200 kids in costumes come to our door for candy. It was madness. We went through five jumbo sized candy bags. But, it was also good fun. My two girls were beside themselves with excitement. My 5 year old and I were both bumblebees, which was great. We couldn't find a bee costume for my 3 yr old, so she went as "a ladybug that buzzes." :)

I managed to stay away from the candy well today, just enjoyed the festivities without the sugar. Some of my success with that that was a good choice that I would like to take credit for, but a big part of it was that I was honestly just too busy running (buzzing?) around with the kids. I'm generally doing well with the diet these days and am just looking forward to getting past some of these work deadlines that make me so tired.
