This upward trend has got to stop. I know the problem is I haven't been tracking what I eat. I'm back at Weight Watchers now and that just seems to have put me in a rebellious mood so I think I can eat whatever I want, but I'm still not satisfied. Back to being reasonable today. I'm on vacation starting tomorrow, but it's a stay-at-home, get some stuff fixed around the house type of vacation, so I'm going to try to fit in a healthy food shopping trip at the beginning.

a fun, relaxing week should help. I'm camping for three days also; and plan on fitting in more exercise

My rules of thumb before a healthy food shop....eat before shopping, have my list and stick to it, only go to the aisles I need and stay away from risky aisles! Stay at home vacations can be productive so it helps me to focus on my goals other than diet. A risk for me is rewarding myself with food. So I have to have a plan to do something different. Have you thought about what is feeding the rebellious mood? All of this has been your choice...and choosing to lose some weight and be healthier is one of those choices...rebelling only serves to defeat you, no one else. I have come to find the tracking to be my strongest ally, not a shaming piece as I thought. I have made it a habit to put in the food a couple times a day, not wait until the end of the day. Helps me to calculate and monitor my intake. If I wait to the end of the day I am less aware of the total and then it hits me and I feel worse. Hope any of this is helpful to you. Have success in the day you are in. Take care.

jjohnson, all good points. I need to make it a habit, plan shopping, plan meals, and record meals.
