Today is my first day journaling here. I have been doing Atkins for 8 days now and am in Phase I. I have lost 5 pounds this first week and feel great. Clothes are fitting better and I am not starving!!! Two big pluses!! I don't know why I never thought to do Atkins before but I am now kicking myself for waiting so long..LOL! Both my husband and I are amazed at how much food you can eat and the variety of that food and still feel full and satisfied. I have never felt deprived and I am not missing the carbs, which I thought I would. I think it is mostly because I feel less hungry in between meals and do not need to snack. I am looking forward to progressing through the different stages and making those lifestyle changes that will make me healthy for life!
