hi everyone, I know I have been MIA lately -- I'm sorry about that! I have been just overwhelmed and I'll be honest for the longest time I felt like working out and getting my life straightened out health wise was a chore ( it looks frowned upon) since I did become a health coach in 2022. (but personally been going through my issues and then I have had some health concerns for my mom) so I guess working out didn't sit with me so well! highest weight I've been in my life was 218 and I went down and up a couple times this year. the good thing is I started working out 2 days ago and I weighed (211) and now I'm 208lbs. I feel motivated again, especially for the money my husband promised me to go shopping because he wants me to get my health on track. I have to say it was easier to lose weight in my opinion before I had a kid. when I gave birth to my daughter in 2017 my weight bounced back super quick and then I gained it all back and then it's been hard to stay at a ideal weight. so if anyone has any tips. (I am on a low carb diet and high protein diet) which works for me but maybe some extra workouts? I'm doing 150 squat pullups daily with the machine my husband got me for mother's Day and I love it but I want to do more workouts that that don't need a machine as well.

Welcome back. I find lower reps at higher weight to be far more effective than very high rep exercises for body composition. High reps, for me at least, are good for building endurance. But not very effective for fat loss, body composition goals. Aside from that, having a full body and a split program to alternate between every 6-12 weeks seems to be beneficial, not only for progress, but to keep things from getting boring as well. The biggest factor by far for me though, is meal planning. Doesn’t really matter what my workouts are like when my diet sucks…😉 Best of luck with your goals!

well heeey girl....welcome back Caroleena!! you got your hair cut and I love it!! Diet is a bad 4 letter word girl - you are changing your lifestyle and freeing yourself of bad eating habits. And of course exercise is a chore so make it fun....put on some music that you love and just dance - get your daughter involved too - have a blast!! Exercise doesn't have to be complicated...go for a walk with hubby and your daughter after supper or let them have daddy/daughter time and you walk around 2 blocks as fast as you can - time yourself and then try and beat your time every time you walk. Just have fun moving your body!! ~ * You Got This! * ~

Thank you all for your beautiful comments, loving words of encouragement and factoring what you are doing. I love hearing what works for you all and also what I can do to maintain my weight loss journey - I just feel like I need to come back here and blow it out of the water so that if I stay in the community I will have daily journals and stay motivated with all of my fs friends! I am very fortunate that my husband bought me this for mother's Day because I do love the workout equipment, I just feel in the beginning it's very hard to do but once your doing it you feel amazing. I definitely am gonna do my 10k + walks like I used to do and have my daughter go to the park with me with have a biking/hiking trail in our area. (Just got to watch out for those mosquitos and ticks) Really bad in the area! But I definitely don't plan on missing out a workout cause that shopping trip will be fun this summer 😚 ❤️ thank you guys for everything you made me feel a lot better c:

I think there is more factors that play role in losing weight. Good eating and exercise are great for lot of people but some people have hormonal issues. You can try to avoid 5 inflammatory foods and you will see if it works for you. Try avoiding sugar, gluten, dairy, soya, corn and alcohol. Now 100% removal of these foods will have biggest impact to clean the gut, improve energy and weight loss.
