I find that I am really enjoying my afternoon power walk. I work second shift, so I have built in to my break schedule a 20 minute walk. We have a little traveled cement road where I work. We are in an industrial/country type of setting. I am getting exercise, sunshine (vitamin D), and seeing lots of geese as they are flying back North now that spring is here. I absolutely hated walking 5 weeks ago. I had to make myself. Now, I have to stop at 20 minutes (work restrictions)! What a difference 5 weeks makes. I started small and have worked up to 1.4 miles in 20 minutes.
I am much more positive about life in general. I am losing inches and my clothes are fitting loosely. People are noticing. I am allowing myself to enjoy their compliments.
