Men can be clueless sometimes... and that's a VERY good thing. This morning, my wonderful future husband jumped on the scale. He was ~5lbs less than he was a week ago (although I think he wasn't using my scale then). I told him that it was great and I was jealous that he lost 5lbs in a week when he wasn't really trying. Cutting out a bit of cheese after dinner at night hardly counts as cutting back to me! His response to me was that at 178 lbs, he was starting at a much higher weight than I was, hence it obviously makes sense that he lost more weight. I told him that he was right and chuckled to myself. Of course I could never tell him that under 3 weeks ago I was 178lbs myself.
It hasn't been a great week, diet wise. I've strayed a bit, which makes me worried. I haven't strayed TOO much, mostly keeping to legal foods but not following everything meal to meal. This week is going to be hard as I'm working out of the office and will have to drive an extra few hours a day. We also have my future mother-in-law's 60th birthday dinner on Wednesday. So, my plan of attack is to stick with my legal foods. I've stocked up on carrots, an orange, yogurt etc. It's a good way to live this diet in everyday life when I can't be as structured as I had been.
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
:-)
