I have finally figured out the lactose intollerance issue with my stomach.

Now to figure out the protein issue. I just cannot eat enough protein no matter how hard I try. I laid awake last night and figured out how to get 40 grams of protein in for breakfast. The idea was great but when I attemped to actually consume that amount of protein, I was completely defeated. I only consumed 23.4 grams before I could not eat any more. Getting plenty of protein that tastes good enough to eat without any whey products is real hard.

Also, I am having a hard time digesting meats. Fish seams to be OK, but just the smell of chicken and beef make me nausous.

I am hoping that getting enough protein during the day will increase my energy levels. It's counter productive to workout only to get home and have to sleep because I don't have the energy to even walk around.

So new goal 80 grams of protein every day. I will be happy with 80 grams and satisifed with 65 grams.

Saw a smoothie on the Dr Oz web site that used brown rice protein, so I went and got it for my smoothie, The brand I got is Jarrow formulas organic brown rice protein, 2TB is 60 calories and has 11g of protein, hope this helps. I have also been starting my morning with a cup of roasted dandelion root tea with 2 TB of fresh lemon juice, which is suppose to be good for cleansing the liver and kidneys
