Even though it was Saturday, I got up at 6:30am so my brother and I could head out to the country and hike about 8km's. Before we set off on our hike, we visited our father's grave site and stopped in at our dad's favourite restaurant for breakfast.

The weather was superb, a balmy +13 Celsius for October 2nd. The sky was sunny and the wind just right to keep you comfortable while we went up and down hills in Pembina Valley. A beautiful day.

Roasted a few wieners to cap off the day - sipped a bit of wine.
