Today will be a good day. I brought 3 pairs of goal jeans. Only because JCP was having an amazing sale, Liz&Co jeans for $8.77 regulary $44.00. Really cute straight legged jeans. I can't even get them over my thighs right now. Clothing sizes are so varied...the jeans I have on now are a 14 (no stretch, straight leg) and so are all of the other jeans I'm fitting now. But the new size 14 jeans are stuck at the largest part of my thigh...lol. Just another reason for not being stuck on clothing size.

I agree. Every clothing maker has their idea of what a certain size is and it reflects in their clothing sizes. It can be discouraging especially when we are trying to get thin and we buy a smaller size and the difference is huge (they still don't fit). Never go on clothing size just put it on and if you feel good in it then you're one step closer to your goal!

Clothing sizes are so arbitrary! I take 3 sizes of every item into the dressing room. I'm getting better at eyeballing it, but I'm still not great at it. I seriously wish they'd do waist/hip/length measurement rather than this stupid numbered sizes system that makes no sense.

K8yk you're so right! Shoes vary slightly, clothing is like a guessing game. Waist/hip/length would be great.
