I was worried that the weekend might have affected my weight - but it's looking good! For as much as I did eat this weekend, I stayed pretty active - making sure we got some good walks in!
We had a visit from one of my college friends on Saturday. We went to our local diner and they have a really yummy breakfast buffet. I tried to balance out the biscuit and french toast with lots of strawberries! Plus it didn't hurt that my little guy was not interested in staying put, so I had to walk/chase him around the restaurant a few times.
Overall, I'm feeling really good. I feel like I have more energy and I have a desire to do things. It's been months since I've felt this good. We got the house picked up when my friend came this weekend and I really want to keep the house looking good - especially since we are going on vacation in a few weeks and we'll be having a neighbor look in on the cats. It feels great to come home to a nice looking house!
I'm hoping to work on our bedroom and get the laundry under control. I think that's a manageable goal for the next few days!
