Diario de Putcake, 24 jul. 12

We had a very busy weekend! We went to a parade on Saturday - my hubby rode his mini-chopper motorcycle with the Shriners and my mom came up for a visit so she could go with us to the parade.

Then on Sunday we went to the state fair. I was excited for WBC to see all the animals! He even squeaked at the chickens! He does it too when our dog barks. I think it's his way of making animal noises - it's super cute!

He also now walking full time - just in time to turn 13 months on Sunday. It's crazy because he's still working on his balance - but he doesn't give up. Now we just have to work on him holding our hands while he walks, so he doesn't take off too quickly!

I did my best to record what I ate Saturday. We had to walk a good mile each way to get to the parade site, and I chased WBC and stood with him, so I felt like even if my eating wasn't the greatest, I at least moved around a lot! And I didn't bother with Sunday because there were bites of things here and there and again, we walked around the fair for 3 hours, so there wasn't a lot of sitting.

I had a great workout yesterday on the elliptical and I'm amazed at how strong I'm feeling. My muscles are loose (which is great because I'm not very flexible) and my stamina is much better. I haven't felt this good since before I got pregnant (2 years ago). I'm so glad to have this energy to chase after the little man and feel like I'm really productive at work and at home!
