Didn't skip my weigh-in this week, thankfully. I have lost 2.6 pounds since my last weigh-in, so I call that 1.3 each week. I am definately making my goal of losing a pound a week, which is really exciting.

Still doing well on my vegan transition, now I'm 100% vegan every other day. And I still make good choices on my vegetarian days, but I'm trying to finish off what's left of the dairy in my freezer and cabinets (lean cuisine cheese pizzas, granola bars with traces of milk in them, etc.).

I am re-learning the "art" of chewing my food well. I'm trying to go for 20 chews per bite to begin with. I have found that I leave a lot of food behind when I do this, because my brain tells my stomache it's full way before it did when I was practically inhaling my food.

I went for two hour-long walks this weekend with my boyfriend. That was really nice to do something healthy together. Usually I have to exercise alone, and then listen to him talk about how much he wishes he could exercise like me. But now it seems he's ready to join in! Which rocks.

Plus he's agreed to start eating less meat, which is awesome. He loved the fake chicken nuggets that I bought this weekend. :-) I doubt he'll ever go vegetarian, but that's okay. I would never pressure anyone into doing this, but when he asked why I was going vegan, I definately explained and he really listened.

Sounds like your doing really well! Congrats on the loss, good stuff!! I'm gonna try that whole chew your food longer, I think I would even enjoy eating more that way, I am always so rushed to eat so I can make sure the kids get finished! lol
