April 22: Well with my yo yo weight, I'm back down 2.8 lbs this morning. I am contemplating not weighing every morning, but once a week instead. I'm handling seeing the weight go up and down because I know it is normal with fluid/muscles etc but my husband doesn't think it should be happening. He let it slip he is also weighing multiple times a day after I told him he would weigh more at night than in the mornings after emptying his bladder. But his once high blood sugar was 103 this morning, he should be ecstatic! His is better than mine now.

The scale can be a good tool, but it can also run so wild that it can mess with your head....fluctuations are normal daily...once a week is best for tracking losses...Good luck!

Yes, that is what I told my husband. I keep a spread sheet showing our weights daily since we bought the scales on April 7...and you can see the ups and downs...usually after an up...even slight one, it takes a big jump down...like the 2.8 lbs from yesterday...since I keep both our spreadsheets, my husband can not do a visual on it like me, so I copied his and sent it to him in an email where he could see it. This one is mine from the day after we bought the scales...In the first 7 days I lost 4 lbs...2nd 7 days I gained 2, keeping calories 1600 or less (mostly less)only change has been our walks on the second week...lots of rain. But I started doing the short Planks second week...first one 3 seconds...second one 20 seconds, third one 17 seconds...trying to work up slowly to 3 minutes. I didn't feel the effect all day of the last one, so today I will try to hold it 20 seconds or longer. It is hard getting up and down out of the floor, my knees are tender. (sorry for this letter...lol)
