As Jamie Lawson so poetically put it, “I Wasn’t Expecting That”. When I stepped on the scales this morning I had to get on and off two or three times before I believed what I was seeing. That is me back in the Onzies/Onederland. Onward and downward.
I am currently in the middle of a two day fast. I have become so used to intermittent fasting that a one day fast just seems like normal. The two day fast is a bit more onerous but nothing I cannot handle. This weekend I will resume eating tomorrow, then commence another two day fast Sunday and Monday. This will put me back on track for enjoying good food and drink on Valentine’s Day. I don’t know how I will play the rest of next week.
We woke this morning to an overnight covering of snow, and as I took Madge to her work this morning it was starting again. There was not enough to affect the roads, but as I got further up the town, and away from the firth, the snow was lying in the side streets. At least it is not as cold as it was the past couple of days.
This morning I have a washing started, with a second load to go in at the back of it, so plenty flights of stairs to climb. Then at lunch time we has an hour dancing class. That will be hard going as it is a new, very energetic, sequence in the Argentine Tango we will be working on.
Yesterday’s jam session went well. I took my Larrivée acoustic with me (the same as the one they took to the International Space Station), and my brother dug out his 12 string acoustic. We had a great time.
He has just bought a new BMW 320 X-Drive Tourer so he was letting me see that. So jealous. And it is an automatic, with an 8 speed transmission!
This is my Larrivée.
