I tried keto for about a week last year.
By the end of the week I felt sick all the time and I completely relapsed at my friend's monthly games day which includes a massive German-style breakfast with loads of bread & cheese, etc.
I find that just the action of logging calories honestly causes me to eat a lot less due to awareness. No more entire loaves of bread devoured in the middle of the night due to boredom/work stress (fingers crossed).
