The only tips I have are to stay determined and that its okay to slip up sometimes. (that, and I just don't eat bread/white pasta/white rice or drink soda/juice anymore)
I'm not the best at the whole "dieting" thing, but I don't punish myself when I mess up. I'm just taking it slowly and I'm happy with every small achievement.
