I took about 3 days off from my diet this week, but I don't think that the weight gain was in fat really. I feel like my stomach is a touch more defined than last week, and that my increased eating has helped build some muscle, as I have been lifting a good amount. I will starting a loading phase with creatine and l-glutamine on the first of September, so I will stay the course until then. After that, I will start my lifting cycle on the 6th of the month, my first day of school. I intend to follow the "geek to freak" protocol from the Four Hour Body for approximately 8 weeks. I've never been very muscular, so my goal is to gain 15lbs of lean mass over this time period...anything more will be icing on the cake. My chest is particularly underdeveloped, which I think is due to my very long arms and big shoulders. My body tends to stress different muscles than normal people during certain lifts with my upper body. A more developed and defined chest is a secondary goal to this experiment. From what I gather, I will need to be eating 250g of protein per day, and a total of near 4000 calories(I maintain at around 2800 or so it seems). Time to stretch my poor stomach back out!
